The path to building amazing software starts with engineering teams empowered through open source and technology. However, Engineering organizations are dealing with an ever increasing landscape of tools, systems, technologies, compliance, decisions and tasks that developers have to navigate. This leads to decreased productivity and drives what many refer to as Developer Fatigue. This is where a Developer Experience Strategy can help. In this talk, we discuss the journey trough open source and open models of working. You will learn the importance of establishing the foundational graph and community approach to prioritizing use cases and tools. Then transition to how this approach creates the opportunity to reduce cognitive load and simplify the path to the next best action, decision, and ultimately focusing on the things that matter.
